VETERAN WOMEN’S
CONNECTION (VWC)
Bridging Connections
The VA offers a range of services, including housing assistance, medical care, mental health support, and substance abuse counseling, tailored to the specific needs of women veterans. The VWC aims to reduce delays in accessing care and resources by providing immediate assistance, bridging the gap until long-term VA support is available.
Research shows that women veterans face a higher risk of homelessness, often due to factors such as military sexual assault, unemployment, disability, poor health, and mental health issues like anxiety and PTSD.

VWC embraces the ethos of “Am I my sister’s keeper?” We emphasize the importance of looking out for one another and providing immediate assistance!
We can all play a part in helping to end homelessness among women veterans by acknowledging their service, understanding their unique struggles, and contributing to solutions that offer them the stability and respect they deserve.
