Veteran Women’s Connection (VWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting the incredible women who have bravely served our country. We are a lifeline of love and unwavering support for veteran women facing the harsh realities of homelessness, those at risk of homelessness, or those overcoming homelessness. VWC provides immediate financial assistance to ease the stress of urgent needs, and bridge the connections to other organizations that offer long-term solutions.

Fundraising is our primary source of funding to support our mission. We need many volunteers to support the VWC 5th Annual Christmas Gift-Wrapping event. If you are willing to help, please choose the dates and timeframes best for you. We appreciate any time you can give for the cause. We will use your input to create a schedule. We will coordinate and confirm times with you approximately three (3) weeks prior to December 20th.

VWC thrives off of community-facing events, from gift-wrapping during the holiday season to popcorn fundraisers, VWC believes in giving back all throughout the year.

  • Approximately 90% of funds are used to support the VWC core mission.

  • April 18, 2023- Texas Roadhouse located in Ashburn, VA fundraiser starts at 4:30 pm

  • November 11, 2023 – Mission BBQ in Sterling, VA

  • December 16, 17, & 23, 2023 – VWC 5th Annual Gift Wrapping Event @ Coast Guard Exchange, Centreville, VA

Past Events & Community Involvements:

VWC 2024 Christmas Fundraiser

VWC partnered with American Legion 24 & 180 to celebrate all female Veteran’s during Women’s History month

  • 8 October 2022-VWC participated in Texas Roadhouse, Ashburn, VA for potential Fundraising opportunities.
  • 18 October 2022-Participated in the Texas Roadhouse non-profit group meeting in Ashburn, VA for potential fundraising opportunities.
  • 31 October 2022-Participated in Premier Partner for VA Women’s Health Re-engagement Training (heaRT) 2022-2023 training cycle.
  • 11 November 2022- Visit the visit table at the Mission BBQ Veterans Day event in Sterling, VA.
  • Thanksgiving Giving Tuesday 2022 donations received.
  • 17 -18, & 24 December 2022- VWC 4th Annual Gift Wrapping event at the Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) located in Centreville, VA. This year VWC will be joined by Veterans Moving Forward and Mission BBQ.
